hi guys. hopefully i can get some help :)
I recently found out about erotic hypnosis and have been trying everything from [author removed] to [author removed]. a huge variety of inductions.
I have tried non smoking files as well. nothing seems to work the way it should.
I visualize everything being said to visualize. i relax when told to relax. i breathe deeply when told to. i clear my mind and try to let it just happen.
I still smoke cigs, and i have yet to feel anything aside from slight arousal. i took [author removed] hypnotic quiz and i score a 4/5 for hypnotisability.
I have a few questions
1) is it possible to feel things under hypnosis
2) when the hypnotist tells you to go deeper, what do you do?
3) i feel differant everytime i go under, why?
4) is it possible im entering trance and that i just aint the kinda guy that can feel while under hypnosis?
5) how come when i see a hypnotist in action on you tube the client falls and drops into what looks like sleep. and how come when doing self hypnosis their is no click bang im in ?
6) what tricks are known to improve a session(mp3)like counting or ignoring ect.? |

A trance word for what purpose?
A "good" hypnotist will be MUCH more effective than audios will be. That will remove much of your issues with depth and consistency of depth. |

| i mean self hypnosis. i would well i dream of being in trance and istning to some of the recordings. is it possibe for them to give me a word or a trigger to have me go deep into a trance so i can listen to the recordings while im under? and how long would the trigger last? |

Ah, yes. I use a similar thing with my clients. A 4 second process to get into state.
A good hypnotist will make teaching that part of their normal routine. From what I see with clients, it works as long as they practice it. If they do not practice the technique for a couple weeks, the trigger can begin to lose effectiveness. |

| Yes, that is the norm. The extent of how that will work for you will depend somewhat on your depth, and your level of conscious interference while in trance. |

i booked an appointment. 297 dollars for a 2 hour session. they said they could take me deep then give me a trigger. this is so exciting, so many cool erotic mp3s to try out. good for me as im single.
so what your saying is its normal to feel under hypnosis? could i feel hands or a mouth ect?
and also. if i were to use the trigger before an mp3 with an induction, would i simply go deeper with the induction, and how deep can you go and what advantages does it have going deeper. |

What do you mean feel hands or mouth? If I get your meaning, you can have closer to dreamlike awareness.
You should go deeper and/or just improve the depth you would get from the mp3 anyway because you've practiced achieving depth. If you go too deep you'll just fall asleep. Getting appropriate depth... you would be more apt to reach the goals you have with the mp3's. |

If the hypnotist is skilled and you choose to simply follow their lead, (rather than trying to do what you THINK you're supposed to be doing)your chances are very good.
One of the biggest struggles to getting appropriate depth with a client is the client trying to get into the version/perception of trance that they think they are supposed to be getting too instead of allowing the hypnotist to do the job they are being paid to do :) |

| I mean... go into the appointment free of preconceptions of the process. Tell the hypnotist your goals and concerns. Then let them do the work. |

Try to focus on one small area of improvement at a time. Trying to quit smoking AND do the erotic stuff all at once is taking on quite a bit, all right upfront. Go for something that is a smaller goal (biting nails, over sleeping, etc.) that is easier to realize your progress and once that is working for you then expand into the other (harder) areas - one at a time. You will see this will make the entire journey easier.
You may not want to mention your erotic hypnosis ventures at all - as some therapists may not be open to discussing it or even want to work with you once hearing that. You can always work on that yourself once you get your trigger in place and get more practice on the smaller easier things.
In fact discussing it in the forum here is probably not a good idea as it isn't taken very seriously and is considered somewhat of a fringe concept. You may also put yourself at risk of being banned from the forum altogether if you mention erotic hypnosis web sites or specific program authors. |
